In addition to work duties of a Janitor, the Lead Janitor will be responsible for the following duties:Plans, assigns, monitors, reviews and supervises the work of janitorial staff. Instructs, advises and demonstrates work methods, practices and procedures for completing job assignments and assists in the training of new and current staff. Ensures that janitorial team starts the workday with supplies, equipment, and tools necessary to accomplish job tasks. Ensures the appearance of the site's grounds are within standards based on guidelines of the maintenance supervisor and maintenance department. QUALIFICATIONS:1-2 years of experience preferred. Ability to read, speak and write in English. Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate work of janitorial staff. Ability to effectively orient and train new employees. General knowledge of safety precautions and procedures of all buildings/facilities Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (green card holder) or other status as a U.S. Person).
