Provides day-to-day IT Operational support. Uses the RT ticketing system to manage the support requests, and also responds to the requests made in person andvia phone. Ensures tickets are addressed in a timely manner. Coordinates with other CON-IT staff and campus IT, as needed, to address the IT requests. Ensures IT operations are conducted in accordance with the campus and college policies. Responsible for IT onboarding and off-boarding. Responsible for system and accessories setup and tier 1 support. Identifies trends in support requests and recommends appropriate interventions to mitigate the issues beforethey become a crisis. Contributes towards developing a knowledge base of common IT needs, issues, and resolutions. Makes sure the IT service desk is meeting the user expectations. Provides User training as needed. Brings to the supervisor's attention any IT-related concerns and needs identified as part of day-to-day operations. Assists colleagues as needed. Provides suggestions to improve the visibility and productivity of the group. Participates in the staff development activities/committees. Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Required:High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Minimum 1 years of professional IT experience within IT Support Services which includes demonstrated experience providing end-user technical and troubleshooting support with computer hardware, software and classroom technologies within desktop and networking environments via, telephone, ticketing systems and/or onsite resolution.
