Multi-skilled position responsible for gas measurement of allocation, custody transfer and operational meters. Installation and troubleshooting of EFM, O 2 and communication equipment. Essential Job Responsibilities:Installation, programming, calibration and maintenance of EFM Flow computers. Verification and maintenance of O 2 Analyzers. Perform flow calculations to properly size orifice plates. Operate, maintain and inspect meter tubes (junior, senior and flange style). Operate and maintain portable Gas Chromatograph for required monthly sampling. Operate PC with interface software, schedules and documentation of work. Perform witness of monthly calibrations. Balancing of Surface Co-Mingled systems. Understand and comply with CFR 43 3175 Federal Regulation. Maintain and complete all required documentation for agency reporting. Develop and maintain customer relations with producers and team. Review and identify volume balance issues and investigate variances. Adheres to the company’s values – integrity, ownership, urgency, alignment and innovation. Supports company vision and mission. Adheres to established work schedule, attendance standards and is punctual to work and meetings. Other Job Responsibilities:Ability to be available 24 hours per day (on call for questions, emergencies, etc.). Maintains employee confidence and protects company assets, including intellectual property, by keeping information confidential. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications:Required:Three (3) Years of minimum oil and gas measurement experience. Operation and troubleshooting experience with Emerson, ABB, Bristol and Kimray RTU/ EFM’s. Ability to demonstrate basic knowledge of low voltage circuits. Self driven, accomplish tasks with minimal supervision. Ability to understand and interpret equipment manuals. Validate gas measurement data before releasing to accounting department. Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing. Ability to understand and carry out written and oral instructions. Ability to accurately solve problems. Demonstrates an increased ability to work unsupervised, act upon an acquired knowledge of how the facilities function, anticipates and corrects problems before they occur. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, other departments, and the public. Ability to complete multiple, diverse tasks of differing priorities. Preferred:Two (2) Years of operating experience in Gas Chromatography . months of calibration and plate inspection experience. Currently working Contract for Hilcorp Energy. Education Requirements:Graduation from a high school or GED equivalent or any equivalent combination of education and experience demonstrating sufficient knowledge, ability and skill to handle the duties and responsibilities of the position. Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:Valid Driver’s License
