The Analyst Strategy & Financial Modeling supports enterprisewide strategic initiatives by delivering highimpact financial analysis, valuation work, and decisionsupport materials for senior leadership. This role contributes to capital investment evaluation, corporate strategy development, and longrange planning across U. S. Steels integrated, minimill, and Tubular operations. The position offers broad exposure to Strategy, FP&A, and Business Planning, with frequent interaction with executive leadership. Key Responsibilities. Develop and maintain financial models to support CAPEX investments across NAFR, Mini Mill, and Tubular operations. Partner with FP&A to build robust business cases and provide analytical insights that support strategic and operational decisionmaking. Support valuation analyses related to capital projects, mergers and acquisitions, markets, products, and emerging technologies. Conduct industry, market, and competitive research to inform strategic recommendations. Assist with forecasting, budgeting, and longrange planning activities as needed. Collaborate with Business Planning and crossfunctional teams to support execution of strategic initiatives and alignment with enterprise objectives. Prepare presentations and analytical materials for senior leadership and the Board of Directors. Provide direct support to the Vice President of Strategy, including coordination of strategic initiatives, communications, and key deliverables. Qualifications. Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related field. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a strategyoriented role within investment banking, management consulting, valuation, corporate development, or a related field. Strong financial modeling skills, including experience with CAPEX analysis, valuation models, forecasting, and budgeting. Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial analysis tools; strong PowerPoint skills for executivelevel presentations. Demonstrated ability to analyze complex qualitative and quantitative data and translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations. Experience collaborating with crossfunctional teams (e.g., FP&A, Strategy, Business Planning). Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings to senior leaders and executives. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced, ambiguous environment. Preferred Qualifications. Experience in heavy industry, manufacturing, steel, or capitalintensive environments. Exposure to M&A analysis, strategic capital projects, or market and industry research. Familiarity with enterprise financial systems and planning tools. Prior experience supporting executive leadership or Boardlevel materials. Core Competencies.
