This position is for a self-motivated sales representative to actively seek out and foster new customer relationships, as well as maintain current customers, for Harley Marine Services and all subsidiary companies. Responsibilities Establish, develop and maintain customer relationships for Harley Marine Services and all subsidiary companies. Seek out and make initial contact with potential customers. Travel throughout the country and abroad, on a regular basis, to build and maintain customers. Attend trade shows and industry events to accumulate new leads. Compile information and data related to current and prospect customer interactions. Generate weekly sales reports for submittal to management team. Update customer and meeting information utilizing SalesForce CRM software. Responsible for the management of sales pipeline reports. Collaborate with management to improve and update marketing materials. Attend all sales meetings. Perform related duties as assigned. Qualifications Must be familiar with strategic selling and all elements of the sales process. Must be able to cross multiple market segments, service lines, and geographic regions easily. Previous experience utilizing a CRM software. Must be comfortable approaching potential customers. Must be financially conscious, using travel and entertainment dollars to their maximum capacity. Proficient with Microsoft Suite. Must have some knowledge of the marine petroleum transportation industry. Must be able to develop and maintain professional relationships. Must be able to work in a fast-paced office setting and be capable of handling multiple projects with firm deadlines. Maintains the highest level of integrity, ethics, and honesty Job Condition and Environment Expected travel 50% of the work week. Exposed to a combination of normal office type environments and client environments. May be required to board tugs, barges, and ships, at dock or at anchor Expected Hours of Work Normal office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. It is expected that you will work beyond normal office hours based on department demands and goals.
