Reporting to the Human Resources Director, the Human Resources Coordinator has professional level responsibilities in the following Human Resources functional areas: recruitment & retention, hiring, assignment, employee relations, and Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). Salary: The salary range for this position will be $68,411.20 - $83,241.60 Assignment:The position will be full-time, year-round. Essential Functions/ Other Functions
Essential Functions:Interpret and ensure compliance with state and federal employment laws, policies and regulations. Provide consultation and assistance to managers. Support HR programs and activities as assigned. Provide human resources data and analysis to administrators to support strategic workforce planning and management. Manage the processing of temporary employees as assigned. Manage the Neo. Gov online application system and processes for assigned programs. Plan and coordinate recruitment, screening, selection, assignment, and other employment management activities for exempt and non-exempt positions. Maintain regular attendance to carry out the duties and responsibilities of the position. Other Functions:Other duties as assigned. Provide back-up to fingerprinting and reception as needed.
Minimum/ Preferred Qualifications & Skills
Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree and six months of Human Resources experience in a Human Resources position. Experience with employee recruitment & selection or onboarding. Experience using an integrated HRIS. Preferred Qualifications and Skills:Experience in an education, not-for-profit, or public sector organization. Experience in a K-12 or ESD human resources department. Experience working with and serving diverse populations.

Working Conditions/ Physical Requirements:Office environment. Employment Requirements:Successful completion of a criminal history background check through the Washington State Patrol. Verification of education/degree.
