External Applicants: Must currently possess or must obtain CPR/ First Aid Certification within 30 days of employment. If hired, must provide proof of a valid California Driver's License Applicants may be tested. Testing: Screening of utilization of signing skills Pursuant to current Ed. Code 45330, this position requires one of the following to qualify for the position: 1. Completion of 60 Semester Units (2 years of study) at an institution of higher education 2. Possession of an Associate's Degree or Higher 3. Passing of a local assessment in Reading/ Writing and Mathematics (which will be conducted on the day of the interview) a. Math knowledge will consist of basic fractions, percentages, word problems, etc.. (equal to that of a high school student requirement) b.
