Perform advanced craft work on specialty costumes such as embellishing, airbrushing, painting, distressing, and morePack costumes for shipment and fill out paperwork for tracking and inventory. Perform basic hand sewing, pressing, repair, and set up costume lines for shows. Operate special laundry care equipment (steamers, industrial steam irons, etc.)Pick-up and delivery of show costumes for repairs, and alterations. Partner with Costumers to set up and assemble wardrobe and accessories for fitting. Compose alteration tickets, compile swatch cards, and perform general costuming inventory. Perform quick costume fixes to include hand sewing, button repairs, zippers, gluing, mending, and more Basic Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age. Must successfully pass the Costume Assistant assessment. Must possess a valid Driver’s License as you may be required to drive company vehicles, such as an automatic transmission box truck. Proficiency in multiple types of complex shipping logistics (e.g. bin, soft craft, garment bag, shipping box, road case)Willing to work with and around costumes made of natural and synthetic materials such as fur, latex, and mylar. Physical role requiring repetitive movement such as heavy lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, grasping, clutching, prolonged standing, and kneeling. Minimal climbing of step stools/small ladders. Be able to work with or around costumes made of natural or synthetic materials such as fur, foam, latex, or mylar. Push, pull, or lift up to 50 pounds individually, and team lift a maximum of 85 pounds. Flexible with work schedule, including overtime, weekends, and holidays Preferred Qualifications: One (1) year of experience in a Costume Department or two (2) years of related experience in a theatrical or themed entertainment capacity. Experience with programs and software such as GUS, Jira, Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams), Smart. Sheet, SharePoint, Maximo, MULAN, Yunique. PLM - Advanced costume craft skills such as airbrushing, dye procedures, jewelry making, and painting. Experience with international packing/shipping logistics and paperwork Additional Information: SCHEDULE AVAILABILTY - Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and some shifts may start as early as 5:00 am while some may end as late as 3:00 am, 4:00 am or 5:00 am.
