Arcosa Construction Products Group is a leading U.S. producer and supplier of construction materials with facilities in 14 states. We manufacture and distribute construction aggregates - including natural and specialty materials - as well as trench safety and shoring equipment used on job sites nationwide. Summer Intern - Construction Products Group (CPG): Supports daily business operations by rotating through key functions such as People Operations, Safety, Sales, and production to gain hands-on exposure to the aggregates business. Assists with data entry, project support, and operational tasks while promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with company standards. What you will do: Comply with all industry safety rules, procedures and applicable government regulations. Comply with all industry safety rules, procedures and applicable government regulations You will be engaged in learning how to take skills developed in college and apply them in a professional setting Understand the planning, permitting, and design of production facilities related to the aggregate and mineral processing industries Use and develop communication skills to communicate project findings, conclusions, and recommendations Analyzes issues and determines next steps Will be assigned to a real job/task and expected to make a contribution that will have an impact on the business. Utilize various skill sets/knowledge during day-to-day operations and to achieve team/company goals. Analyzes various GL accounts Actual and forecast reporting Data entry work as required Presentation to leadership focused on sharing your experience, accomplishments, and results at the end of your internship Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed What you will need: Upcoming Junior or Senior pursuing a bachelor's degree Prompt, regular, and predictable attendance Effective oral and written communication skills with all levels of company personnel Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving ability High degree of self-motivation, passion, and a drive to learn Proficient in MS Office with advance Excel skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively Positive attitude and strong willingness to learn from mentors and peers Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week for the duration of the internship.
