Participate in ongoing professional development and training provided by Heinen's Chief Medical Officer and Chief Registered Dietitian. Deliver prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable customer service with a focus on health education and personalized wellness support. Guide and empower customers to make informed, healthy lifestyle choices. Utilize and maintain proficiency in the HIPAA-compliant software system used for client engagement. Maintain well-stocked, clean, and organized shelves; ensure proper product rotation and accurate signage. Design and execute in-store displays and collaborate with grocery management on product merchandising. Manage product ordering, inventory control, and shrink reduction for the wellness department. Process returns and damaged merchandise in accordance with company policies. Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment within the Wellness Resource Center. Plan, coordinate, and host in-store seminars and customer-facing wellness events. Represent Heinen's at select community and offsite events, as needed. Qualifications. High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in a wellness-related field (e.g., Nutrition, Health Sciences) preferred. Minimum of 2 years' experience in retail, wellness, or customer-facing operations preferred. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Strong sense of initiative, resilience, and professionalism. Demonstrates adaptability, enthusiasm, and a collaborative spirit. Culturally competent and able to support customers from diverse backgrounds. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Proficient in Microsoft Office, internet applications, and other business software tools. Willingness to travel between Chicago-area store locations and to Cleveland for business meetings.
