To participate in any one type of coverage (i.e., medical, dental, vision, or life), the unit member must enroll in and contribute toward the cost of all types of coverage. Part-Time Employment .75 FTE (75% of the standard full-time schedule) ANNUAL STIPEND An additional $5,000 Stipend shall be granted for certificated employees assigned to a Special Education position. Job Summary Under limited direction of Special Education Program Administrator will provide quality language, speech and hearing services to severely handicapped, orthopedically handicapped, seriously emotionally disturbed, deaf, or communicatively handicapped students, ages 18 months to 22 years, through a commitment to team participation in planning and implementation of student programs; a functional, community based curriculum; communication and social skill development; interagency cooperation, and a strong parent-teacher-student linkage. Opportunities exist to develop and experiment with adaptive technology, vocational education, and integration with non-handicapped populations. This position is represented by the California Teachers Association and is .75 FTE. Requirements / Qualifications Possess a Master's Degree from an accredited college or university with an emphasis in appropriate field. Valid CA Speech Language Pathology Services Credential.
