Teachers are expected to engage students in lessons that help them make meaning for themselves through classroom activities (demonstrations, simulations, labs, discussions, debates), assignments (creative projects and evidence-based persuasive papers), and assessments (multiple formative and summative assessments to measure progress towards mastery). Reporting Responsibilities: Reports directly to the High School Principal Job Description / Essential Elements:DANCE TEACHER POSITION DESCRIPTION We are looking to hire a passionate Dance Teacher to join the New West Charter School family. You will be responsible for teaching and training a dynamic group of students in a range of techniques and dance styles. You must ensure that all students are engaged, motivated, and inspired to achieve their goals as a dancer. RESPONSIBILITIES: Facilitate dance instruction in all pertinent dance styles such as jazz, ballet, contemporary, hip hop, and lyrical dance; in person and/or online.
