Practice Areas & Work Primary focus: Oil & gas title work, including opinions and curative matters. Basin exposure: Core states: Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, North Dakota Additional work: Utah, Oklahoma Some limited matters: Ohio, Pennsylvania Small transactional component: Occasional JOA or contract review (approx. 5%). Dedicated Probate Work: ? Actively seeking a full-time Probate Attorney with interest in probate matters related to oil & gas. Ideal Candidate Profile Prefer 3 of oil & gas title experience (needs Texas exp - required) Will consider 2.5 years, especially those seeking Texas basin exposure. Landman experience is a plus but not required. Strong legal writer - the firm conducts a writing assessment as part of the hiring process. Highly detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable with technology. Open to candidates in any location or barred in any jurisdiction.
