The Meadows Center for Preventing Educational Risk is seeking a dynamic and team-oriented individual to provide support to multiple projects, including LASO – Strong Foundations, Tiered Interventions Using Evidence-Based Research (TIER), and Texas Reading Academies. This candidate may also support additional projects, as determined by the direct supervisor. Responsibilities. Support the director and manager of the LASO - Strong Foundations Planning and Implementation grants with LE - As in Texas and beyond with technical support, professional learning and coaching. Support Tiered Interventions Using Evidence-Based Research (TIER) - collaborate with the project director and TIER team to support school districts with MTSS, including data collection and analysis, planning and presenting professional learning, and coaching and technical assistanceSupport Texas Reading Academies - assist the project director with the coaching of district cohort leaders. Assist with monthly PLC meetings, site visits, and email communication. Schedule, plan, and respond to emails with and for the STAR Team Project Coordinator. Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications. This position requires proven educational leadership skills and an eagerness to collaborate with a diverse group of support providers and LE - As across the state of Texas and beyond. The desired mindset for this position would be a willingness to walk alongside others and engage in a partnership to learn and implement research-based best practices for educators. The ideal candidate should have: A bachelor's degree in a related field and 5 years of relevant experience. At least 3 years of classroom teaching experience, 1-2 years of related experience focused on educational programs, which may be a part of a university program or internship. Research experience and presenting skills are a plus. Must be a certified classroom teacher in Texas. A certified cohort leader or willing to become certified. Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate. Preferred Qualifications. Masters degree in relevant field. Bilingual in Spanish in all aspects of listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Additional teacher certifications in Texas. Salary Range$51,000 - $52,000
