Where You'll Make an Impact:Review staffing levels to maintain operational effectiveness. Controlling cards and equipment. Responsible for the supervision and performance of the poker dealers Development of staff, evaluating, hiring and training. Assists Poker Floor Supervisor/ Greeter with monitoring with reviewing and managing the department's promotions and tournaments. Review poker room activities and promotional status with Director of Poker. Assists Poker Floor Supervisor/ Greeter with monitoring and adjusting performance to local competition. Excellent customer service. Ensure the safety and security of guests and employees. Other duties as assigned. Skills to Help You Succeed:Ability to analyze and interpret departmental needs and results. Ability to solve complex problems. Knowledgeable of specified games and gaming regulations. Ability to add monies and chips. Good public relations/guest service skills. Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressure in an interruptive environment. Ability to accurately complete paperwork and forms. Complete, perform and understand basic mathematical functions. Knowledge of company policy and procedures, IRS Bank Secrecy Act and internal controls. Complete knowledge of all facilities available to guests on property. Always maintain a pleasant, friendly, and welcoming attitude with use of facial expressions and knowledge of all special events and promotional activities. Ability to maintain mental concentration for significant periods of time. Basic computer skills Management abilities demonstrated in managing the Poker Room operations. Maintain interpersonal working relationship among all personnel. Oral and written communication skills. Willingness to assume responsibility relative to the performance of the table games. Obtainment of departmental budget and goals. Effective managing of the staff. Accuracy in completing assigned duties, paperwork, and reports. Knowledge of state gaming laws and regulations Qualifications Must-Haves:One (1) to two (2) years' experience as a poker dealer or poker floor supervisor with a four (4) year degree in related fields or equivalent work experience. Technical school education in dealing specified games. Must be able to obtain and maintain the necessary license as mandated by the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency. Physical Requirements:Must be able to carry a tray. High volume, 24, hour liquor and beverage service. Loud, high-energy work environment.
