Ensures that all documentation meets hospital requirements and is current and accurate. Including but not limited to licensure, certifications and professional liability insurance for practitioners. Maintains accurate and current records for all applicants, including electronic databases and paper files. Prioritizes multiple department tasks and projects to ensure they are completed in the required time frames and is able to deal with multiple tasks and interruptions with minimal supervision. Provides administrative and technical support for medical staff committees and departments. Applies problem-solving, analytical skills, and effective communication to address issues and provide solutions. Collects and analyzes information received from applicants, pursuing additional information as necessary. Assist with processing Medical Staff, Advanced Practice Providers, Clinical Assistants and Student and Resident applications in compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards. Demonstrates strong interpersonal and negotiation skills in interactions with applicants and stakeholders. Triage patient and physician satisfaction concerns in a timely manner, assuring they have been thoroughly addressed.
