Team Gilbert has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated professional to fill the position of Fleet Superintendent. The Fleet Superintendent reports to the Fleet Manager. The primary job duties of this position include: Supervise and coordinate all activities for the Fleet Supervisors, including hiring, training and development, mentoring, scheduling, performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and technical assistance. Participate in the division's strategic planning process and play a major role in other large-scale financial, operational, and administrative issues. Reinforce workplace culture: inclusive, respectful, and collaborative, which supports a sense of purpose (departmental mission) and belonging for the staff and community. Establish a collaborative system that fosters cross-functional cooperation among multiple fleet sites and focuses on implementing programs to address identified needs and timelines. Research, recommend, implement, and evaluate goals, pilots, projects, and programs. Evaluate department operations to determine the efficiency and effectiveness of services/programs. About You

In addition to possessing the ability to live out our core and functional values daily, candidates must possess the following requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Fleet Management, Business, or related field; and 3 Years of experience in Public Works management as a supervisor or manager in a fleet operations environment; and 5 Years of experience in Fleet maintenance; or. Any equivalent combination of experience and training provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work. Licensing/ Certifications. Valid Arizona Driver's License. AS - Es are highly desirable. This position is an At-Will position and is FLSA Exempt - ineligible for overtime compensation. This position has been designated as a Light work position that spends the majority of its workday in an office environment.
