Description: Notre Dame de Namur University's School of Psychology seeks part-time, adjunct faculty to join a cohesive and collaborative faculty team in the graduate Clinical Psychology and undergraduate Psychology Departments. We seek experienced faculty to teach online, including synchronous and asynchronous courses, and in-person at our Belmont, CA campus. The graduate, Master of Science in Clinical Psychology program, is a depth-oriented, integrative clinical psychology program that trains students to become unlicensed mental health professionals, licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (MF - Ts), and licensed Professional Clinical Counselors (LPC - Cs) to work in clinical, consultative, social service, and business settings. The undergraduate Bachelor of Arts in Psychology degree completion program provides a comprehensive, applied foundation in psychology for students to complete their undergraduate psychology degree. Possible course offerings include:Expressive Arts Therapy; Organizational Consultation and Evaluation; Coaching; Cognitive Behavioral Therapy; Child Psychopathology and Psychotherapy; Neurophysiology and Psychopharmacology; Couple Therapy; Family Systems and Relational Psychotherapy; Psychodynamic Psychotherapy; Cross-Cultural Issues; Research Methods; Psychobiology; Intro to Psych; Abnormal Psychology; Cognitive Psychology, Social Psychology and Capstone. Additional qualifications for Graduate Courses (necessary):Doctoral degree in psychology or a related field (PhD., Psy. D. or Ed. D), Licensed clinical psychologist, marriage and family therapist, professional clinical counselor, or clinical social worker with current, CA license, and active clinical work.
