Title: Part-Time Faculty for UG/ Grad Psychology Courses. Department: School of Psychology. Reports To: Dr. Helen Marlo, Dean. Location: On campus; Remote (Required: California Residents Only)Salary: $2,268 per unit. Seeking School of Psychology P. T. Faculty: In-Person; Online: Asynchronous and Synchronous Courses. Description: Notre Dame de Namur University's School of Psychology seeks part-time, adjunct faculty to join a cohesive and collaborative faculty team in the graduate Clinical Psychology and undergraduate Psychology Departments. We seek experienced faculty to teach online, including synchronous and asynchronous courses, and in-person at our Belmont, CA campus. The graduate, Master of Science in Clinical Psychology program, is a depth-oriented, integrative clinical psychology program that trains students to become unlicensed mental health professionals, licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (MF - Ts), and licensed Professional Clinical Counselors (LPC - Cs) to work in clinical, consultative, social service, and business settings. The undergraduate Bachelor of Arts in Psychology degree completion program provides a comprehensive, applied foundation in psychology for students to complete their undergraduate psychology degree. Possible course offerings include:Expressive Arts Therapy; Organizational Consultation and Evaluation; Coaching; Cognitive Behavioral Therapy; Child Psychopathology and Psychotherapy; Neurophysiology and Psychopharmacology; Couple Therapy; Family Systems and Relational Psychotherapy; Psychodynamic Psychotherapy; Cross-Cultural Issues; Research Methods; Psychobiology; Intro to Psych; Abnormal Psychology; Cognitive Psychology, Social Psychology and Capstone. Qualifications (necessary):Graduate degree from a regionally accredited university. Compatibility with the School of Psychology and University Mission and philosophy. Experience working with students of diverse populations; traditional and non-traditional age students. Additional qualifications for Graduate Courses (necessary):Doctoral degree in psychology or a related field (PhD., Psy. D. or Ed. D), Licensed clinical psychologist, marriage and family therapist, professional clinical counselor, or clinical social worker with current, CA license, and active clinical work. Experience teaching a range of Clinical Psychology courses at the graduate level. Clinical skills and expertise.
