As a Security Guard Foot Patrol in The Dalles, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/ Media/ Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a cutting-edge tech location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour Job Schedule:Day. Time. Mon 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM - Tue 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM - Wed 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM - Thur 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM - Fri 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM What You'll Do:Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a technology-focused location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, access points, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns. Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and support access control processes for restricted areas in accordance with site policies. Observe facility conditions and report maintenance, operational, and/or security-related issues that could impact daily business functions at the location. Minimum Requirements:Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
