Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM - Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM - Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM - Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM - Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do:Provide customer service to passengers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a public transportation location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including entrances, platforms, concourses, parking areas, and perimeter locations, as permitted by site policies. Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location to help to deter unauthorized entry, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations. Assist with directions, information, and general support during routine operations, service disruptions, and/or emergency situations while maintaining a professional presence. Minimum Requirements:A valid New York State Security Guard License is required. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
