Join Allied Universal as a driving patrol officer at a busy healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. In this unarmed role, you will bring professionalism, reliability, and integrity to every interaction while working as part of a caring, agile, and innovative team. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $20.20 / Hour Job Schedule:Day. Time. Tue 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM - Wed 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do:Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders when needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions, hazards, and/or unauthorized access. Monitor entrances, lobbies, hallways, and other assigned areas to help manage access, observe visitor activity, and support orderly operations in accordance with site protocols. Complete required reports and documentation related to incidents, observations, and/or daily activities, and relay relevant information to supervisors and site personnel. Minimum Requirements:A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located. At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. Required hospital vaccinations must be provided as a condition of assignment. Must be able to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue. Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client. Must be at least 21 years of age. Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
