Safely perform duties with strict adherence to procedures, use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and company policy Ownership of personal safety and safety of co-workers Work a rotating shift schedule in a team environment Obtain Supervisor post qualification within specified time and maintain all post training requirements Perform primary emergency response duties assigned per post requirements About you Skills and Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age Must have a high school diploma or equivalent Must have 8 years Dock Operations experience in the Petro-Chemical Industry Must have 3 years Dock Supervision experience Currently possess or be able to qualify for a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) Currently possess or be able to qualify for a valid driver’s license Able and willing to work nights, holidays and overtime Able and willing to work in inclement weather, climb structures and perform work at heights Submit to and satisfactorily complete pre-employment background, medical, and drug screening Maintain required certifications and training that are area or assignment specific Preferred Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities Demonstrated ability as Leader in personal safety and teamwork dynamics Demonstrated experience in mentoring and developing subordinates to meet their full potential Ability to hold performance discussions, and provide clear feedback on performance issues, with subordinates Ability to work independent of direct supervision
