The joint education department for Palm Shores Behavioral Health Center and Suncoast Behavioral Health Center are an integral part of the total treatment plan for patients admitted to the residential programs. Students are provided with on-site academic instruction during their stay. Our school is accredited by Cognia. We are located in Manatee County. Visit us online at: Palm Shores Behavioral Health Center The Director of Education directs the student educational program for the facility, organizes and plans individually tailored educational programs for all students, coordinates individual programs involving the student’s home school district, supervises the implementation of the educational treatment plan, and actively participates in the interdisciplinary treatment team meetings. The Director is also responsible for the overall leadership and contract management of the school. The Director also participates in facility rounding.
