Leviat is seeking a Laser Operator to maintain and operate our laser cutting tables. Candidates must have a strong understanding of the machines they work with, and in-depth training may be required to prepare for daily duties. Operators may work with mechanical or computer-operated equipment. They must be technically inclined and able to properly utilize tools and machinery. Candidates for this position should be detail-oriented and willing to learn. This position will work closely with all levels of management and employees to ensure safety and promote our safety culture. Job Responsibilities Operate machinery and equipment, inspect, and prepare parts for shipment per SOP/ VOP. Notify supervisor of non-conforming products or problems with machine, materials, etc. Communicate production issues with the next shift operator. Follow specific processes and procedures as outlined in SOP/ VOP. Assist other operators in setting up machines and other necessary tasks to meet deadlines and complete product. Perform other duties as assigned.
