Summary:We are seeking a full-time, 40-hour Phlebotomist to work onsite at 500 Merrimack Street in Lawrence, MA. The desired schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Our Phlebotomists play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients and are responsible for collecting and processing blood specimens from patients for laboratory testing. Essential Functions:-Obtains quality blood samples using a variety of phlebotomy methods for all age groups.-Ensures accurate patient identification, quality specimen labeling, processing, handling, and transportation ofspecimens.-Communicates effectively with patients and patient care teams, explaining procedures and addressing patient concerns to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.-Handles sharps and biohazardous materials in accordance with regulatory requirements to ensure the safety of patients and staff.-Works fluently with computer programs and systems, and complies with HIPAA regulations.-Performs other test administration and specimen collection as assigned-Performs other duties as assigned-Complies with all policies and standards Qualifications.
