Pay Range$26.55 - $39.85 Where you will work:Carolinas Medical Center which is a 900 bed, trauma 1 hospital and provides music therapy services throughout all units. Our MT-B - Cs address symptom management and emotional support but also end-of-life support and rehabilitative work with other therapy teams. There are opportunities for group and individual sessions with a variety of patient populations including but not limited to behavioral health, stroke/neurologic diagnoses, surgical trauma, general medical/surgical, addiction and substance abuse, antepartum, and patients with altered mental status, delirium and dementia. Education, Experience, and Certifications (Bulleted Version)Education. Associate’s degree in art, music, or an education-related field required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Certifications. National Certification in Music Therapy required for Music Therapists. National Certification in Art Therapy preferred for Art Therapists. Experience. Minimum of one year of Art/ Music Therapy experience in a healthcare setting. At least one year of experience in a medical facility.
