Allow our team to curate your stay with the spirit of Brotherly Love. About the role:The Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia is seeking a Sous Chef to join our culinary team. This role supports the Executive Chef and Chef de Cuisine in leading the day-to-day kitchen operations, ensuring exceptional food quality, consistency, and presentation across all outlets. The Sous Chef plays a key role in driving culinary excellence by developing recipes, maintaining cost controls, and upholding Four Seasons standards for food safety, sanitation, and service. You will lead, coach, and motivate a team of culinary professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement while ensuring operational efficiency and an elevated guest experience. What you will do:Support kitchen operations, ensuring consistent preparation and presentation of all food items. Lead, coach, and develop culinary team members to uphold Four Seasons standards. Assist in menu planning, recipe development, and production execution. Monitor food quality, portion control, and purchasing specifications. Manage labor and food costs through scheduling, inventory, and efficient operations. Ensure compliance with sanitation, safety, and regulatory standards. Collaborate with leadership and other departments to support overall hotel operations. What you bring:Proven culinary experience in a professional kitchen (leadership experience preferred)Strong leadership, team development, and communication skills.
