The School of Nursing and Allied Health Professions at Indiana University Kokomo is seeking to fill a faculty position for a Clinical Assistant Professor of Radiologic Sciences. This is a full time, non-tenured track, 10-month position at the Clinical Assistant Professor level beginning August 2026. In addition to regularly scheduled fall and spring courses, this position will require travel to clinical affiliates. The following will be the standard for teaching responsibilities: six (6) sections per academic year for tenure track and tenure, seven (7) sections per academic year for clinical faculty and eight (8) sections per academic year for lecturers. The teaching assignment will include both the didactic and clinical components of the curriculum, program and instructional materials development, and course and program assessment in the Fall and Spring semesters, assisting with JRCERT program assessment and accreditation, and advising students within the majors. Appropriate university/professional/ community service is also required including committee work and engaging in campus initiatives to increase retention and enrollment. Evidence of effective teaching, and a record of service will be required for continued contract and promotion. Basic Qualifications Education: Holds a minimum of a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited University or College. However, a graduate degree is preferred and must be completed within five years of hire. Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited radiography and/or radiographic sciences’ program. Certification & Licensure: Holds an active ARRT certification in Radiography. ARDMS and/or ARRT certification in additional imaging modalities desired. Holds a current Indiana State Department of Health Radiologic Technologist License. Experience: Minimum of 2 years full-time experience as a radiologic technologist in radiography. Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in radiography (clinical and/or didactic) in a JRCERT accredited radiography program. Shows proficiency in curriculum development, supervision, instruction, evaluation and advising. Must be able to meet physical requirements pertinent to teaching assignments.
