Conduct initial contact with branch management to gather facts of the loss and explain the claims process. Review insurance policies to determine applicable coverages, limits, and deductibles. Coordinate vehicle inspections and review repair estimates from body shops or independent appraisers for accuracy. Evaluate total loss claims and negotiate settlements based on actual cash value (ACV)Identify potential subrogation opportunities and refer cases to the recovery department. Maintain detailed and accurate claim file documentation and status update. Collaborate consistently with internal teams, including operations, marketing, and regulatory departments. Candidate Requirements. Education. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience. Experience 2 years of experience in auto claims adjusting or a related field in the insurance industry. Valid state-issued Adjuster License as required by jurisdiction. Proficiency in claims management software and estimating platforms. Skills & Competencies. Excellent verbal and written skills for negotiating and explaining coverage. Industry knowledge. Maintain detailed, accurate records of the claim. Strong understanding of auto insurance policies, liability laws, and vehicle repair process. Ability to use claims management software. Compensation. Base Pay range: $22.60 - $33.27 / hourly. While starting pay falls within the given range, it can vary based on factors like geographic location, skills, education, and experience. Total earnings may also be affected by overtime, incentives, commissions, performance, and route assignment (where applicable). Why Choose Us?
