Contribute to projects in one or more of the following areas: quantum computing, quantum sensors, and/or quantum communications. Communicate results to government sponsors via presentations and reports. Help shape MITRE Quantum Information Science and Technology Strategy. Coordinate to expand quantum technologies work program. Basic Qualifications:Minimum of 2 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or a Master’s degree or a PhD with relevant experience who can immediately contribute to the quantum work program; or equivalent combination of related education and work experience. Expertise in quantum information sciences and technologies. Demonstrated high-level research contributions. Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills. Ability to work on interdisciplinary topics and communicate well across scientific groups. Able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. Per the U.S. Government’s eligibility requirements, you must be a U. S Citizen to be considered for a security clearance. This position requires a minimum of 50% hybrid on-site. Preferred Qualifications: Master’s in Physics, Quantum, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline. Experience in one or more areas of quantum information such as quantum computing, quantum networking, and/or quantum sensing.
