Answer all incoming calls into the main telephone numbers for the medical centers. Transfer external and internal calls. Provide visitor information and general customer service reception. Receive and dispatch all emergency communication calls to include trauma codes, code blue, and other medical emergencies. Paging services for patients, staff, and medical providers. Monitor and respond to alarms. REQUIREMENTS - High School Diploma, or GED Certificate; AND one year of experience as a Telephone Communications Operator, or equivalent. Six months of additional qualifying experience may substitute for required education. Excellent customer service skills. Ability to work in a team setting. Computer skills, including competent keyboard abilities. Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and/or registration.
