Budget preparation and project cost control. Safety management. Quality control. Business development and client relations. Field resource management. In order to accomplish that, the PECD program has been structured with a competency based approach along with an emphasis on individual mentorship. Our Project Engineers will build experience across multiple competencies before being promoted into the career path they desire – project management, estimating, construction management and more. About the Team:VSL Denver’s office is located in Wheat Ridge, CO and is primarily an in-office position. While our Project Engineers are mostly situated in Colorado, the branch has work spanning throughout the country. This role requires extensive project based travel! Denver’s primary market is post-tensioning solutions, with an emphasis on strengthening and repairing parking structures and heavy civil bridge work. Preference for Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field of study. Cumulative grade point average of 2.8 or higher. A minimum of one relevant internship experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Exceptional documentation and organizational skills. Aptitude for solving problems. Reliable transportation from the office to job-sites.
