Position Summary: As a Dishroom Attendant, you will play a key role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen operations. Your responsibilities include loading and emptying the dish machine, hand-washing pots, pans, cooking utensils, and equipment, and assisting the kitchen staff as needed. Qualifications: Education/ Training: Ability to read and recognize similarities and differences between words and numbers. Capable of writing simple correspondence and responding to common inquiries or complaints. Licensure/ Certification: None required. Experience: None required; on-the-job training provided. Essential Functions: Remove waste and dispose of it properly; empty and clean garbage receptacles. Clean serving carts and the dishroom, including sweeping, mopping, washing walls, floors, and floor mats. Stock all dishware and glassware after cleaning. Perform closing duties as per established standards. Adhere to MSDS standards, safety protocols, sanitation, infection control procedures, and HACCP guidelines. Communicate relevant information about customer and department needs to management and team members.
