We are seeking a compassionate, detail oriented Patient Services Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for patients and families, ensuring a smooth scheduling and check in experience, supporting clinical staff, and maintaining accurate patient records. If you enjoy helping others, thrive in a fast paced environment, and have strong communication skills, we’d love to meet you. Shift: Monday through Friday / 2:30 pm - 11 pm / with rotating weekends. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma with 3 years of face-to-face customer service experience (preferably in healthcare). Key Responsibilities Patient Communication & Support - Welcome patients, families, faculty, and staff upon arrival. - Check on patients during wait times and assist with any needs. - Provide accurate information on schedules, diagnostic imaging (DI) procedures, and preparation requirements. - Offer printed materials or instructions as needed. - Ensure patient information remains secure and confidential at all times. - Inform patients and families about available services. - Schedule same day X ray exams as needed. - Share relevant appointment and preparation details with patients, families, physicians, and care teams. - Help maintain a safe environment for all patients, visitors, and staff. - Verify wristband accuracy during check in (name, MRN, DOB, date of service). - Deliver service recovery when necessary. Record Maintenance - Update patient information to ensure accurate and complete records. - Maintain confidentiality while handling documents and varied patient related situations. Financial Coordination - Collect, review, and reconcile patient balances according to departmental guidelines. - Collaborate with the Financial Clearance Center (FCC) to assist patients with flagged accounts. Other Duties - Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support clinic operations. EDUCATION - Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent. Preferred: Associate's Degree. WORK EXPERIENCE - Required: 3 years Relevant work experience. or: Additional education may be substituted for required experience on a one-to-one basis. OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Must pass pre-employment skills test as required and administered by Human Resources.
