JOB TITLE/ LOCATION: Recruiter - Oxford, CT DESCRIPTION: RBC Bearings is seeking a highly experienced Corporate Recruiter to support critical hiring across our Aerospace business. This position is onsite at RBC Bearings' headquarters in Oxford, CT and works directly with Business Development and Aerospace Sales leadership, serving as a trusted talent partner in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment. The ideal candidate brings deep industry knowledge, exceptional sourcing and closing skills, and a proven ability to move quickly in competitive markets. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB: Own full-cycle recruiting for critical Aerospace roles, including: Aerospace Product Engineers Manufacturing, Mechanical, and Design Engineers Aerospace Field Sales Engineers Aerospace Product Marketing professionals Partner closely with Business Development and Aerospace Sales leaders to understand: Growth strategies and customer demands Technical and commercial requirements Program timelines and hiring urgency Develop proactive sourcing strategies focused on: Passive candidate identification Competitive intelligence and talent mapping Direct outreach to top-tier aerospace competitors Assess candidates for both technical depth and commercial acumen Drive offer strategy and successfully close candidates in highly competitive talent markets Manage multiple high-priority requisitions simultaneously while maintaining a high-touch candidate experience Operate with urgency, precision, and accountability in a high-paced manufacturing environment EDUCATION: 10 years of recruiting experience, with significant focus in: Aerospace & Defense manufacturing Precision manufacturing or engineered products environments Demonstrated success recruiting mid- to senior-level engineering and technical sales talent Strong understanding of manufacturing engineering fundamentals and how engineering decisions impact production, quality, and delivery Proven ability to source, influence, and close highly sought-after candidates Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills Ability to operate effectively onsite and in close partnership with senior business leaders Track record of delivering results under tight timelines and high expectations Prior in-house recruiting experience within an Aerospace or Defense manufacturer Experience supporting growth-oriented sales and business development teams
