Leverage cutting-edge electronic health systems to accurately document patient information and provide seamless care. The Pre- Admission RN is responsible for the comprehensive evaluation of and preparation for all surgical patients. This includes a detailed review of medications, medical history, pre-surgical testing, and day of instructions and is completed over the phone either on site or remotely. Qualifications What We're Looking For:Education:Graduation from an accredited nursing program as required by licensure. BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) is strongly preferred. If you're working towards your BSN, we encourage you to apply! For certain roles, a BSN is required. We also consider RNs without a BSN based on clinical experience and with approval from the Chief Nursing Officer. Experience:At least one year of nursing experience, or completion of the Legacy Health RN Residency program (or equivalent program). Additional clinical experience may be required, depending on the department. Acute care experience preferred. Skills & Qualities:Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to connect effectively with patients, families, and colleagues. Ability to navigate and utilize electronic health systems.
