Capture and edit high-quality video content that promotes UIC Athletics and enhances the student-athlete experience. Film cinematic footage of competitions, practices, team activities, and behind-the-scenes moments. Produce highlight packages, hype videos, and promotional features with an emphasis on creativity and timely delivery. Operate and maintain video, audio, and lighting equipment as needed. Assist in the production of content for in-venue video boards and digital displays. Organize and manage media assets while adhering to established brand standards and creative direction. Support recruiting efforts through photo and video coverage, including official and unofficial visits. Assist with ESPN broadcast operations, including setup, troubleshooting, and on-site production support for selected events. Maintain flexibility to work nights, weekends, and outdoor events in varying weather conditions. Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s degree in film/video production, cinematography, radio and television, documentary film production, photojournalism, communications, graphic design, or a closely related field to the position. One (1) year (12 months) of professional work experience in areas including non-linear video editing, motion graphics, video lighting and composition, camera operation, graphics design, audio recording, video production, or a closely related professional area. NOTE: Master’s Degree in an area consistent with the duties of the position may be substituted for one (1) year (12 months) of work experience.
