We are seeking a Director of Accounts Payable & Treasury to lead the Companys payables function across a growing multi-entity structure of 50 subsidiaries. This role will ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, maintain strong internal controls, and build scalable processes to support Awaydays continued growth. The ideal candidate brings deep operational accounting expertise, strong communication skills, and a continuous-improvement mindset. Key Responsibilities Lead all aspects of the Accounts Payable function, including invoice processing, vendor setup and management, payment approvals, and issue resolution. Lead the accounts payable integration for new acquisitions, ensuring consistent vendor setup, coding structures, and payment workflows across brands. Oversee vendor onboarding to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with Awayday policies and IRS requirements (including 1099 reporting). Review and analyze AP aging for the consolidated business (50 subsidiaries), resolving aged or disputed items timely. Partner with Accounting, Treasury, and FP&A to optimize and report on Days Payable Outstanding (DPO) and support cash-flow management initiatives. Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and internal controls to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. Lead, mentor, and develop the Accounts Payable team fostering a strong performance culture, establishing clear roles and structure, and conducting regular reviews to ensure accountability and professional growth. Serve as a business partner and point of contact for internal departments, operations teams, and external vendors, promoting collaboration and service excellence. Qualifications 7 years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable, including at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role. Experience with Ramp and NetSuite strongly preferred. Strong understanding of GAAP, AP best practices, and internal control design. Proven experience managing AP in a multi-entity or consolidating environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Collaborative, proactive, and continuous-improvement mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
