The Senior Vice President of Enterprise Technology will lead the technological evolution of a high-growth, skilled trades education organization. This role is responsible for bridging the gap between hands-on training and a sophisticated hybrid learning model. The successful candidate will ensure that our digital infrastructure is not only innovative and scalable but also strictly adheres to SOC 2 and GLBA security standards to protect our students and corporate reputation. RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Design and execute a technology strategy that supports a seamless hybrid learning experience, integrating physical in-classroom and lab instruction with online learning. Direct the implementation and continuous monitoring of controls required to maintain SOC 2 Type II and GLBA compliance, safeguarding student financial and personal data. Lead the selection, migration, and management of core systems, including the Student Information System (SIS), Learning Management System (LMS), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), as well as internal staff-facing systems, such as Enterprise Resource Planning, M 365, and others. Ensuring business continuity through contribution and participation in disaster recovery and ownership and execution of Cybersecurity Incident Response. Staying current and deploying emerging technology trends, such as AI and Machine Learning, to increase efficiency and revenue. Lead and evolve the data function, to include data warehouse, governance, data quality, and engineering, to support analytical, BI, and ML products and services. Scale the infrastructure and IT resources to support rapid growth across multiple campuses, ensuring standardized hardware and high-speed networking. Direct the support strategy for staff and students, including Incident, Problem, and Service Request processes, including operational procedures and accompanying policies, to ensure timely resolution with established SLAs Modernize the student lifecycle through automation, from digital enrollment and financial aid processing to career placement tracking. Establish and oversee IT capital and operational expenditures, focusing on cost-efficiency and high ROI. Responsible for Vendor Onboarding and Contract Management functions, ensuring that our suppliers and sub-processors are compliant and our agreements are balanced and have favorable terms, leveraging our market position and scale. Education and Experience: 10 years of IT leadership experience, with at least 5 years at the executive level in a for-profit education or highly regulated service industry. Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, or MBA preferred; relevant certifications (CISM, CISSP, or PMP) are a significant plus. Proven expertise in SOC 2 and GLBA frameworks, with a track record of successfully navigating independent audits. Strong background in hybrid education delivery, including experience with video streaming, virtual labs, and mobile learning applications. Strategic mindset with the ability to operate in a fast-paced, private-equity-backed or high-growth corporate environment. Strong financial acumen and experience evaluating how financial decisions affect your clients P&L. Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical risks and opportunities into business impact.
