We are excited to bring on a Request for Proposal Associate to join our Operations team supporting Workplace Solutions. Background Details The Request for Proposal team plays a critical role in supporting Lincoln Financial Group’s Group Protection business by partnering with sales, underwriting, and client service teams to deliver accurate and timely Request for Proposal (RFP) responses. As an Associate, you will apply foundational product and services knowledge to support basic RFP and renewal responses that accurately and favorably represent Lincoln Financial Group’s offerings. You will work closely with members of the selling team and key subject matter experts to gather information, understand client needs, and support pre- and post-sale activities. What you'll be doing You will support and promote change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives within assigned area(s) of responsibility. You will maintain knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends for assigned area(s) of responsibility. You will perform and deliver on routine assignments/projects for their assigned area(s) of responsibility. You will coordinate and perform basic pre and post-sale activities with subject matter experts to include Underwriting, Client Services, Implementation, etc. You will collaborate with key internal/external stakeholders to gather and assess basic information needed to support renewal requests. You will provide routine print and document management support within the RFP team & across GP Distribution and Account Management. You will educate brokers on LFG service model, policies & procedures; refers service issues to appropriate avenues for resolution. You will recommend basic process improvements to enhance current process, reduce redundancy & errors, and enhance the customer experience. You will represent the Request for Proposal team for any special projects. What we’re looking for Must-have experience (Required): 4 Year/ Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) (Minimum Required) 0 - 1 Years experience with RFPs/ RFIs that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position (Required) Ability to communicate effectively (verbal/written) Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook Application Deadline What’s it like to work here?
