The Clinical Placement Coordinator in the Cummings School of Nursing, reporting to the Director of Clinical Education, is responsible for coordinating and managing all clinical and internship placements for undergraduate, ABSN, and graduate nursing students to ensure timely degree completion. The Clinical Coordinator serves as the School of Nursing’s liaison to the Endicott College Internship and Career Office and maintains collaborative relationships with clinical partners to support high-quality educational experiences. Key Responsibilities Clinical and Internship Placement Coordination (50%)Successfully place all undergraduate, ABSN, and graduate nursing students into required clinical and internship experiences. Assess individual student needs for clinical and internship placements. Collaborate with students and faculty to coordinate clinical and internship specialty areas and site preferences. Communicate onboarding and compliance requirements to students and verify completion prior to placement. Maintain consistent communication with preceptors, internship faculty, the ABSN Chair, and Graduate Chairs regarding all aspects of student placements before and throughout the clinical or internship experience. Clinical and Internship Program Management (50%)Coordinate with the Associate Dean, ABSN Chair, Graduate Chairs, Clinical Coordinator, and Director of Clinical Education to identify and manage clinical and internship opportunities. Maintain proficiency in the Massachusetts Centralized Clinical Placement (CCP) system. Secure, develop, and maintain clinical and internship sites while fostering positive, professional relationships with practice partners. Ensure all clinical affiliation agreements are current and compliant with Board of Registration in Nursing (BORN) regulations. Serve as liaison between faculty and clinical sites to coordinate student experiences, including communication of preceptor roles, responsibilities, and credentialing requirements. Communicate placement details and compliance requirements to students accurately, efficiently, and within practice-site timelines to ensure compliance with state and national accreditation standards. Prepare and maintain accurate clinical and internship documentation for accreditation and regulatory reporting (BORN, CCNE, AACN). Represent the Endicott College School of Nursing professionally and courteously to all external partners. Support clinical and internship requirements, including coordination of N 95 fit testing, CPR certification, uniforms, and other site-specific requirements. Perform additional duties as needed to support the mission and goals of the School of Nursing. Be an active participant in the life of the College by attending and supporting key events like Commencement, Homecoming, and other all-hands-on-deck gatherings. Show a spirit of collaboration and community involvement, including volunteering when possible. Other duties as assigned. Core Competencies. Team Player: shows a willingness to collaborate and share information, knowledge and experience with team members. Qualifications and Skills. Bachelor’s degree required. Prior experience with clinical or internship placement programs preferred. Demonstrated commitment to inclusive education and support for cultural diversity among undergraduate and graduate students, with an emphasis on social justice. Strong ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Effective critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Proficiency with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Forms, Drive) and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint); experience with Adobe Acrobat preferred. Willingness to learn and utilize additional technologies associated with the position, including CCP, CastleBranch, CARS, and Canvas.
