Assists with coaching duties for the Women's Basketball program, operating under NCAA bylaws. Assists the head coach with recruitment and training for athletic competition, and participates in theoverall coordination of the program, as appropriate. Full Job Description:DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Coaching Duties:1. Collaborates with head coach in organizing, preparing, and conducting individual and teampractices, training, and competition .. Leads in the identification and recruitment of potential student-athletes for the Women's. Basketball program, in accordance with WCC and NCAA rules, regulations, guidelines, andstandards .. Provides guidance and mentorship to student-athletes on a range of personal issues, asrequired .. Leads, monitors, and coordinates training and practice sessions, ensuring that all appropriatesafety guidelines and standards are maintained .. Provides day-to-day guidance, assistance, and support to assistant coaching staff on playerdevelopment practices and techniques .. Provides co-leadership in the coordination and administration of the overall program, asrequired .. Represents the sports program to various institutional programs and externally to the media,government agencies, funding agencies, donors, alumni, students, parents, and the general public .. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. General Manager: - Roster & Personnel Management: Scouting prospective student-athletes, managing the transferportal, and fostering team culture. - NIL and Revenue: Sourcing strategic NIL partnerships for athlete activation, along withmanaging sponsorship and fundraising efforts. - Alumni & Development: Maintaining engagement with former athletes and leading developmentactivities. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: - Bachelor's degree required. - Minimum of four years of collegiate coaching experience required; experience as a Division Icollege student-athlete preferred. - One to two years of exposure to NIL guidelines and compliance. - Previous experience supervising and managing staff. - Experience developing NIL partnerships and supporting sponsorship and fundraisinginitiatives. - Prior experience scouting prospective student-athletes and managing the recruitment process. - Knowledge of applicable team or individual sports and playing rules. - Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. - Foster a cooperative work environment. - Demonstrated competitive coaching skills in area of sporting specialty. - Knowledge of NCAA student-athlete academic eligibility requirements and knowledge of. NCAA recruiting rules. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a widerange of constituencies in a diverse community. - Knowledge of travel/lodging planning, scheduling, organizing and coordinating skills. - Ability to provide technical guidance and leadership to professional personnel in area of - Competitive women’s basketball experience is desirable. - Strong organizational, oral, written and computer communication skills are needed. - Knowledge of NCAA bylaws. Full-Time/ Part-Time:Full time. Pay Rate:Salary. Salary Range :$115,000-$190,000 annualized; commensurate with experience.
