Develop and execute strategic, creative publicity campaigns for adult titles. Effectively communicate the campaign strategy to internal and external partners. Pitch and secure national and regional media across print, broadcast, radio, podcast, and digital platforms. Work to reach new audiences and respond to trends and news of the day. Identify, engage, and collaborate with influencers and earned social media partners to amplify publicity campaigns and expand audience reach. Organize and execute author tours and activations with bookstores, libraries, organizations, cultural institutions, and influencers; provide on-site event support as needed. Interpret consumer trends, insights, and sales data to identify publicity opportunities for titles. Present campaigns and title highlights at internal meetings and sales conferences; participate in author meetings and publicity strategy calls. Collaborate with marketing, editorial, and sales colleagues to maximize campaign visibility and impact. Maintain and extend professional media relationships and identify new opportunities in the ever-changing media landscape. We're looking for someone who has:Bachelor's Degree. 5 years of experience in adult book publicity, preferably with experience across commercial fiction. Demonstrated success in securing national media coverage and executing high-level publicity campaigns. Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills. Existing media and industry contacts, with a strong understanding of the adult book media and social media landscape. Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple, complex projects independently. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Netgalley, Edelweiss, and Muck. Rack or similar media database. This position is in New York, NY, and follows a hybrid work schedule, requiring in-office presence three days per week. The base salary range for this position is $75,000 - $80,000 per year.
