This position is responsible for operating various Screen-Printing Press Operations. The operator will have extensive working knowledge with Carousel and hand fed Tempo Presses including set up and install of screens with squeegee. Registering material to press and quality assurance. Operator daily preventive maintenance as required. Responsible to produce high quality silkscreen metal press printing and ability to work with automation enhancements. Essential Functions & Principal Accountabilities Reviews and completes specs from job tickets and layouts both accurately and precisely. Sets up and adjust press for job runs to meet specifications. Inspects product for quality during job runs. Monitors presses and automation as required during job runs, remains alert to mechanical problems and corrects or refer to maintenance, as necessary. Follow approval procedures. Print jobs. Maintain a clean & neat work environment. Press clean-up at end of shift. Good attendance. Notify manager of mechanical problems immediately. Track job time in Computer as required. Meet production standards for output, waste. Complete required production quality inspections. Adheres to safety guidelines and keeps workspace clean and organized. Education/ Training/ Experience. High School Diploma or equivalent desired. On the job training 3-5 Years Manufacturing Print Silk Screen Experience Preferred. Preferred Qualifications/ Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities. Ability to work overtime when needed. Computer Experience. Good written communication skills. Good verbal communication skills. Problem Solving Skills. Ability to work independently. Ability to analyze operations/procedures preferred. Ability to follow through on all tasks. Team Player. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to handle pressure and deadlines. Minimum Qualifications. Must be eighteen years of age. Must pass the Drug Test. Must pass the Background Check Essential Physical Demands. Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds in a physical environment. Ability to stand for periods of time up to and exceeding 60 minutes. Ability to make repetitive movements, including, but not limited to, using a 10-key or calculator, bending, or squatting.
