The primary purpose of this position is to maintain the cleanliness of the office and perform minor repairs. Essential functions and responsibilities: - Cleaning & Sanitizing: Sweep, mop, and vacuum office floors; disinfect high-touch areas like door handles, light switches, and kitchen appliances. - Restroom Upkeep: Clean, sanitize, and polish restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors; replenish soap, toilet paper, and paper towels. - Waste Removal: Empty all trash, recycling, and shredding bins, replacing liners as necessary. - General Maintenance: Perform minor repairs, such as replacing light bulbs, unclogging drains, or adjusting furniture. Restock vending machine. - Common Areas: Clean lunchrooms, break areas, and kitchenettes, including tables, chairs, and refrigerators. - Outdoor Maintenance: Shovel and salt steps and walkways in winter, cut grass, stack pallets, and other outdoor maintenance as necessary. - Warehouse: Assist warehouse staff when necessary. - Perform other duties as needed. Physical demands and work environment:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Incumbent will be required to use a telephone or handheld mobile device for extended periods of time, and office machinery as needed. The employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions. Individual will be required to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds on a daily basis. Incumbent must be able to read, see, hear, and speak. Work Days and Shifts:Position works Monday–Friday, daylight hours. Requirements Requirements. Education/ Certification(s)/ License(s) required:Position requires a High School diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license is required as operation of company trucks, vans and/or vehicles is required on occasion. May be required to participate in safety trainings and/or certifications provided by the Company or customers. Experience/ Other required:Minimum of six (6) months maintenance experience. Ability to understand simple directions in English. Ability to perform basic math. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. This is a full-time, in-person position, and candidates must be able to work from our office located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
