THE POSITION:Under direct supervision, orders, receives, stores, and issues a variety of parts, equipment, materials, and supplies; and performs other work as required. Essential Duties: Orders, receives, stores, and issues a variety of parts, equipment, materials, and supplies; Issues substitute parts on the basis of knowledge of interchangeability of parts; Operates a vehicle and forklift to pick-up, deliver, load, and unload parts, equipment, materials, and supplies; Performs inventories to ensure adequate levels of stock are available and advises superiors regarding need for purchases; Checks and prepares reports of materials received; Maintains stock records and prepares inventory reports; Reorders stock as necessary based on acceptable usage levels to ensure reasonable on-hand stock and to avoid over stocking; Properly maintains parts, equipment, materials, and supplies in storage status. Possession of a valid Class "C" California driver's license. Highly Desirable Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Adobe software 10-Key Data Entry. Customer Service. Physical Conditions or Special Working Conditions:Standard office environment and working conditions. Must be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions and in a maintenance environment Examination (Weighted: 100%) ORAL APPRAISAL INTERVIEW (Weighted 100%): June 11, 2026 (Tentative) An appraisal will be made of the applicant's experience, education, training, certification, knowledge, skills, abilities, and personal qualifications for the position.
