Guidehouse is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to support Agile software development projects for federal and commercial clients in the Health industry. This role is ideal for a seasoned analyst who can independently lead requirements activities, partner closely with technical and business leadership, and contribute to overall delivery success. As a Technical Business Analyst, you will serve as a trusted advisor to clients and internal teams, owning complex requirement efforts and helping shape scalable, high-quality software solutions in an Agile environment. Key responsibilities include:Lead requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, and validation efforts for Agile software development initiatives. Translate complex business needs into clear, testable user stories, epics, features, and acceptance criteria. Partner with Product Owners to manage, prioritize, and refine the product backlog. Act as a primary liaison between client stakeholders and technical delivery teams. Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Define and document functional and non-functional requirements (e.g., security, performance, integration, scalability)Support solution design discussions by providing business and system-level insights. Identify and manage requirements-related risks, dependencies, assumptions, and impacts. Support testing, defect triage, and user acceptance activities to ensure solutions meet business intent. Contribute to project planning, estimation, and delivery reporting as needed. Mentor junior analysts and contribute to team knowledge sharing and best practices. What You Will Need:A bachelor’s degree is required. US Citizenship or a Green card is required. A minimum of FIVE (5) years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting software development projects. Must be willing to work TWO (2) days ONSITE- Hybrid. Demonstrated experience working in Agile/ Scrum environments. Strong ability to independently lead requirements efforts with minimal oversight. Experience translating business needs into technical artifacts (user stories, workflows, data requirements, APIs)Proficiency with Agile and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar. Experience defining, prioritizing, and delivering data-driven product capabilities leveraging modern cloud data platforms such as Snowflake and/or Databricks. Knowledge of Health industry related software needs and acumen. Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills. Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple workstreams. What Would Be Nice to Have:Experience supporting federal government clients or highly regulated environments. Familiarity with modern software architectures (cloud-native, microservices, APIs)Experience collaborating with UX/ UI designers and applying design thinking practices. Agile or business analysis certifications (CSPO, CSM, PMI-PBA, SAFe, or similar)Experience contributing to proposals, SO - Ws, or client-facing deliverables.
