Consultants support project teams, primarily for clients but also and internally. Responsibilities will include client management, solution implementation and generation of insightful, technically correct, and appealing project results. As a consultant, a key function of your role will be to create and present quality deliverables that support essential project workstreams. You will gather and analyze data, identify gaps and trends, and make recommendations related to baseline performance and structure, as well as established best practices and benchmarks. Specific responsibilities include:Conduct technical, economic, and financial analyses, including data collection, modeling, and tool management. Evaluate energy efficiency measures and renewable energy technologies. Apply sustainability analytics, including corporate GHG accounting, climate risk, ESG regulatory disclosure, and abatement analysis. Perform structured research and fact-finding on business, sustainability, and energy topics; assess trends and market approaches. Develop corporate sustainability and business strategies. Support project management and targeted business development activities. Communicate insights and recommendations through client-ready reports and presentations. What You Will Need:Bachelors in a quantitative field including economics, finance, engineering, science and/or related discipline 1-3 years of work experience in quantitative analyses. Strong interest in corporate sustainability and energy transition. Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills. Possess technical fluency, especially in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Proactive and independent work style. Strong client presence, professional demeanor and presentation skills. Ability to assume ownership of significant portions of tasks while collaborating with a close-knit team. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to travel as needed (most individuals currently travel 5% or less, but could be up to 100%)Due to contract requirements, US Citizenship restrictions apply The successful candidate must not be subject to employment restrictions from a former employer (such as a non-compete) that would prevent the candidate from performing the job responsibilities as described. What Would Be Nice To Have:Master’s degree in quantitative and relevant field. Demonstrated experience and skill at corporate sustainability analyses. Demonstrated experience in management consulting.
