Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to optimize medication regimens using evidence-based medicine and standards of careSupport hospital performance on national quality indicators, with a strong focus on the admission medication process. Provide educational in-services to clinical staff. Develop policies and processes to enhance departmental operations and workflow efficiency. Participate in at least one departmental or hospital committee. Precept pharmacy students and/or residents, contributing to clinical education and training. Role Breakdown. Direct patient care: 60%Order verification & distribution: 20 ucation: 15 ministrative duties: 5% What We're Looking For. Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required. Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy, Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency Committee (FPGEC) Certification. PhD, preferred. Doctorate of Pharmacy. Experience: Postgraduate year 1 residency or fellowship OR two years of experience as a registered pharmacist in health system pharmacy, preferred. Licensure/ Certification: Current Pharmacy licensure in appropriate state(s) or must be completed within 30 days of start date by either examination or reciprocity, required. Board of Pharmacy Specialties Certification, preferred. Additional Skills (required): Other duties as outlined in Novant Health and facility specific policies and procedures.
