National Security Space is seeking a Program Management Director responsible for the successful startup and execution of P 224 Phase B. Duties are inclusive of design, development build, delivery, launch, and operations of 6 LM 400 space vehicles, leveraging lessons learned from adjacent programs, and partnering across the enterprise to deliver on-time and within cost. In addition to execution of current P 224 Phase B, this role will PM capture duties for follow-on SV options on P 224 and will need to coordinate lessons learned with other Global Security programs. In this role you will have the following daily key responsibilities:? Be responsible for the overall cost/schedule/technical execution of the P 224 program.? Lead the innovation and development of systems and products associated with needs of the customer.? Engage regularly with senior government officials, industry partners, and suppliers on behalf of Lockheed Martin.? Stay up to date with relevant mission knowledge and have the ability and willingness to develop innovative approaches for satisfying the diverse customer requirements that are technically superior and efficient.? Assist with program capture / follow-on activities.? Deliver a positive customer experience. This position does not support teleworking; the preferred candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility one of the Coolest places to work: Denver, Colorado , and be expected to work in the office. To be effective, ideally, you should also have: - Experience with multiple USG customers is a plus - Previous experience managing a large program and/or portfolio in excess of $50 M - Experience interfacing with company executives, customers and external agencies - Experience with integrated planning or equivalent - Experience with Mission Class B/ C spacecraft - Experience with high rate production programs - Completion of Program Management Development Program, Program Management Institute, or equivalent certification - Experience as a leader of leaders - Experience with risk and opportunity management.
